Fr Nnaemeka Ali, O.M.I., is a master's student at Saint Paul University in Ottawa. He worked for over seven years as a Catholic missionary in Innu communities on the North Shore of Saint Laurence River, Quebec.

He is of Igbo origin and is interested in questions of postcolonial identity and spirituality of colonized nations.

His primary interest is the link between decolonial theology and Indigenous spirituality. Currently, Nnaemeka is researching the decolonization of missionary pedagogy through indigenous epistemology. His preferred methodologies are narrative and storytelling. 

In his free periods, he blogs and takes photos and videos. He plays basketball and loves gardening. Nnaemeka speaks Igbo, English, French, and Italian. He also understands Spanish (moderately) and reads Innu-aimun.
